Status Board
Use the easy built-in panels to automatically see data about your life: calendar, tweets, e-mail, weather, news, and more. Or, use the pro panels, Graph and Table, with your own customized data sources, to see relevant data about your business or organization.
It is a cool, if highly niche, idea. A personal console, if you will, for your day-to-day life. The ability to use TV-Out to put this onto a large HDTV into an office or reception area is equally brilliant.
As much as I’d like to, I can’t recommend Status Board as the pricing is downright insane. It costs £6.99 upfront, which would be fine if that was the only cost (as Panic is so well renowned in the tech circles to support the premium price), but the app also has a £35 In-App Purchase to unlock the external display functionality. That’s just ridiculous.
I understand that they are trying to charge a higher price to corporations, but it is simply not worth that much.
