iPad Mini

But iPad mini isn’t just a scaled-down iPad. We designed it to be a concentration, rather than a reduction, of the original. A refined unibody consolidates more parts into one. A single-cell battery — the thinnest ever made by Apple — takes up less space, but lasts just as long.

I was very confident with this device that it was a pure price play. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is premium hardware (it has a five-megapixel rear camera, for instance) at premium prices. Apart from the CPU, the bezel design and the display, it may as well be the big iPad.1 I can’t wait to see these in person. They look stunning from the initial hands-on.

1 Even though the aesthetics bend more towards the latest generation iPod touch, there is no doubt that this is still an iPad.
