HTC's Chief Operating Officer Resigns

Wall Street Journal:

HTC Corp. said Tuesday that Chief Operating Officer Matthew Costello has stepped down from his post but will stay on as an executive adviser to the Taiwanese smartphone maker.

HTC was in trouble when it start experiencing financial difficulty. Now, it is under even more strain as executives flee left and right. It is going to take a sheer miracle to steer HTC away from liquidation or a buyout at asset value, which is probably the most likely outcome.
