Have you noticed that Apple’s much-debated ‘Genius‘ ads have disappeared from the Olympics?
Well, you’re not imagining things. A rep for TBWA/Media/Arts Lab, Apple’s ad agency, says the ads are not running anymore, but that was the plan all along. The ads were intended only for a ‘first run‘ during the Olympics, which meant just the first weekend of the Games, the rep says.
I find it hilarious the blogosphere can start a conspiracy1 because Apple showed a set of ads for only two days …
Of course, Jobs would have never aired an ad only once.
1 They didn’t just stop airing; they mysteriously “disappeared”.
