Apple Pivots, Returns To EPEAT Ratification

Apple:

We’ve recently heard from many loyal Apple customers who were disappointed to learn that we had removed our products from the EPEAT rating system. I recognize that this was a mistake. Starting today, all eligible Apple products are back on EPEAT.

There must have been a lot of people who complained to cause Apple to revert their decision so quickly.

Originally, I thought Apple had pulled out of the standard because the new Pro wasn’t going to meet the requirements. This has turned out not to be the case; the Retina Pro is now listed on their site and has been awarded the highest level of compliance.

In the original statement a week ago, Apple said “their design direction was no longer consistent” with the standard. Does that mean future products will not comply?
